Green Stewardship Council

  GSC Certification Programs

There is no better set of credentials than those provided by the Green Stewardship Council. What types of facilities should be certified? Offices, Hospitals, Day Cares, Schools, Malls, Hotels, Restaurants, and any facility where indoor air quality is a concern. GSC can help with the development of a stewardship plan that will include the assessment of cleaning processes, product selection, storage, usage, disposal, equipment and training of cleaning personnel for your retail business, medical or professional office, day care center or school, cleaning service and home.

The EPA estimates that indoor air can be up to 100 times more polluted than outdoor air. Studies show that chemicals found in most household and commercial cleaning products can lead to a multitude of diseases - including asthma, allergies, auto-immune diseases, cancer and even A.D.D. In fact there are many cleaning agents that contain ingredients that are classified as hazardous air pollutants under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments and as toxic air contaminants by California's Air Resources Board. Indoor Air Quality (I.A.Q.) has become a hot topic amoung health-oriented groups and Legislators; is your company, school or place of business ready to uphold the inevitable new standards?
